Eine neue 'Leonie'

This 'Leonie' is sewn in the smallest size. I used a cuddly fabric - the leftovers of this coat. For lining I used a stretch plush. So I created a cuddly jacket for a baby. On the lining I embroidered a deer and on the front of the jacket two little birds.

Diese 'Leonie' ist in der kleinsten Grösse genäht. Ich habe kuschelweiche Stoffe verwendet - den Rest von diesem Mantel. Zum Füttern habe ich dehnbaren Plüsch hergenommen. So ist eine Kuscheljacke für ein Baby entstanden. Auf dem Futter mit einem aufgestickten Hirsch und auf dem Rücken zwei kleine Vögel.

The doll was a gift from my sister. It is so great. Thank you so much!!

Die Puppe war ein Geschenk von meiner Schwester. Sie ist so toll! Danke herzlichst!!

Friendship top / Freundschaftsshirt

This weekend we had a visit from a dear friend of my daughter. Her friend doesn't live in our area, so she visits us for three of four weekends a year. A deep friendship connects the two girls.

Dieses Wochenende hatten wir Besuch von einer Freundin unserer Zaubermaus. Da die Freundin nicht in unserer Gegend wohnt, können sie sich nur drei oder vier Mal im Jahr sehen. Nichtsdestotrotz verbindet sie eine tiefe Freundschaft.

Yesterday evening (until two o'clock) I sewed two tops for the girls. So that they have something that reminds them of their friend:

Gestern Abend habe ich bis um zwei Uhr genäht für die beiden Mädels. So haben sie immer etwas was sie aneinander erinnert.

I used top quality fabrics. The green one is from the USA, the lilac one is from here (and was very expensive) and the colorful one is from Buttinette

Ich habe qualitativ hochwertige Stoffe benutzt. Der grüne ist aus den USA, der lila von hier (und war sehr teuer) der bunte ist von Buttinette.

Auch für Kleinkinder sehen das Raffshirt Chiara und die Hose Aurora super aus.

For infants the gathered shirt Chiara and the trousers Aurora look great as well.

Hier habe ich die Wellenlinie der Hose nicht umgesetzt, dafür mit Zierstichen gearbeitet. Es sollte eine edle Version werden:

Here I didn't made the wavy line. Instead I used fancy stiches. I wanted to sew a noble version of Chiara and Aurora:

Kleinkinder mögen verspielte Kleidungsstücke - Aurora und Chiara laden förmlich dazu ein.

Infants like playful clothing - Aurora and Chiara are very inviting for embellishments.

Trainerhose / Track pants

Frl. Zaubermaus braucht eine neue Trainerhose (Sporthose), aber bitte eine coole und eine die passt. Sprich, nicht zu weit ist. Mit diesen hohen Ansprüchen kramte ich in meinen Vorräten und fand sogar noch einen "Sportstoff" - und das beste: in der neuen Lieblingsfarbe - wie genial!

Miss Magical Mouse needs some new track pants! But cool ones and that fit well! In other words a skinny kind of pants. With these high standards of my customer I went into my studio. There I found this "sport fabric". In the new favorite colour - how brilliant!

Schnell war klar, es muss etwas auf dem Po gestickt sein und auf dem Hosenbein benötigt Frl. Zaubermaus ebenfalls eine Stickerei und Hotfix Steine. "Weisst du, DAS ist cool!"

Something needs to be embroidered at the bottom. And one trouser leg needs an embroidery with hotfix stones: "Just so you know, I need that and it is so cool!"

Der Schnitt ist mein eigener (eigentlich ein Jeansschnitt) und wird hoffentlich in Kürze zu kaufen sein. Den hat mir meine Schnittdirektrice auf Frl. Zaubermaus Körpermasse gradiert, damit ich endlich einmal einen Schnitt habe, der passt. Dafür werde ich noch lange dankbar sein!

It's my own pattern (actually a pattern for a jeans) - and hopefully you'll be able to purchase it in a short time. My pattern cutter made it for me (especially for my daughter) in a slim size, so that we now have a pattern that fits! I guard it jealously and I'm very happy about it!

Die Stickerei für über dem Po war schnell gefunden. Aber was passt dazu? Coole Stickereien sind rar - aber nicht bei OESD! Also schnell gesucht und gefunden. Gestickt und mit ein paar Hotfixsteinen aufpoliert.

The embroidery "Rock Star" was quickly found in my stock. Girly embroideries are rare - but not at OESD! Searched and quickly found - stiched and hotfix stones stuck on.

Nun bin ich mal gespannt was die Schulkameraden/innen zu der Hose sagen und ob die Hose lange im Gebrauch sein wird!

Now I stay tuned and I'm eager to see what the friends at school will say and if the track pants will be in use for long!

In der Hexen-Nähküche brodelt es mit zwei neuen Schnitten.

The pot keeps bubbling in my sewing-kitchen with two new patterns!

Zum einen das Raffshirt Chiara. Es eignet sich ideal um Restenstücke zu verwerten. Es fällt super und sieht angezogen einfach süss aus.

First of all the gathered shirt 'Chiara'. It is very good to use up small fabric pieces from your last project. The shirt is amazingly sweet!

Damit das Outfit komplett wird - eine passende Hose "Aurora". Hier sind die Wellenlinien des Shirts wieder aufgegriffen. Auf der Rückseite geben die übergrossen Taschen ein super Bild ab.

For a complet outfit - you need matching trousers "Aurora". I picked the wavy line up. On the back there are big trouser pockets.

Angezogen einfach wunderschön!

Worn they are simply wonderful!

Schwangerschaftsponcho Amelie / Pregnancy Poncho 'Amelie'

Leonie coat / Leonie-Mantel

Nach dem Schnitt 'Leonie' habe ich einen Mantel für Frl. Zaubermaus genäht. Sie wächst im Moment wieder gewaltig, nimmt aber keinen cm an Umfang zu. Darum nähen wir immer noch nach der Grösse 122/128, was einige Änderungen bedingt - sprich Verlängerungen.

With the pattern 'Leonie' I sewed a coat for my Miss Magic Mouse. At the moment she's growing a lot again, but she is only getting taller. Therefore, I still sew on the size 122/128, which requires some changes - meaning extensions.

Auf dem Stoffmarkt haben wir uns alle in diesen schönen Stoff verguckt. Schnell war klar, dass daraus ein Mantel werden muss. Damit er auch genügend warm wird, habe ich den Stoff mit Fleece gedoppelt. So ist dieser kuschelweiche Mantel entstanden. Meine Zaubermaus wollte unbedingt eine Stickerei im Futter und Bommel an Kapuze und Bändel. Auch dieser Wunsch konnte erfüllt werden.

At the fabric market, we fell in love with this beautiful fabric. We all agreed that it is the right fabric for a nice coat. In order to make the coat real warm and cozy, I doubled the fabric with fleece. Thus, this cuddly soft coat emerged. My mouse wanted to have an embroidery in the lining and pompons on hood and ribbon. Of course, these wishes had to come true.

Damit der Mantel mitwachsen kann, habe ich Ärmelbündchen genäht. Noch schnell Taschen eingenäht und fertig ist das Trend-setter Teil.

So the coat can grow with my daughter, I sewed cuffs. A pocket added and done is the trend-setter coat.

Ice Princess jacket

My daughter needed a special jacket for ice skating. So I took my pattern Leonie and sewed a special jacket for my Ice Princess!

Meine Tochter wünschte sich schon lange eine spezielle Jacke. So nahm ich meinen Schnitt Leonie zur Hand und nähte für meine kleine Eisprinzessin diese wunderschöne Jacke!

The embroidery I worked with an embroidered cotton. It looks great! This design is wonderful too! We love it!!

Die Stickerei habe ich mit einem bestickten Baumwollstoff unterlegt. Es sieht richtig toll aus. Auch dieses Design ist wunderschön. Wir lieben es!!

And in the hood you can find a snow flake.

Leon als Mantel / Leon as a coat

Heute war das richtige Wetter um ein paar schöne Fotos zu machen. Schnee mit strahlend blauem Himmel.

Today was the right weather for a perfekt Photo shooting, snow with a shining blue sky above. It was literally picture-perfect.

Der Mantel wird sehr geliebt und was anderes mag gar nicht mehr angezogen werden...

The coat is being loved and no other is worn anymore...

Kindermantel nach dem Jackenschnitt Leon

Nach meinem Jackenschnitt 'Leon' entstand dieser wunderschöne Mantel. Dafür habe ich die Ärmel um zehn und die Vorder- sowie das Hinterteil um 33 Zentimeter verlängert. Damit die schöne Innenseite auch zur Geltung kommt, habe ich die Teile offenkantig verarbeitet. Danach habe ich die Saumzugaben füsschenbreit abgesteppt. So ist dieser schöne Effekt entstanden.
Dazu gab es noch einen Schal, den ich mit einem kontrastfarbenen Jersey gedoppelt habe und Armstulpen, sowie eine Mütze nach Ottobre (04/2007)

With my own pattern 'Leon' I sewed this beautiful coat. I cut the sleeves 10 centimeters longer and the front as well as the back pieces 33 centimeters longer. So that you can see the great inner coat I sewed the pieces left on left and sewed along the seam from the right side. So I created this cuddly effect.
To complete the set I sewed a scarf, which I doubled with pink jersey, arm cuffs and a cap with an 'Ottobre design' pattern (04/2007).
